When you try this recipe, you will know why spinach is Popeye's favorite food. Its leaves not only provide vitamins A and C, as well as a large amount of minerals such as iron, so they are indicated for children, so that they grow strong and healthy.

This recipe, in addition to being very nutritious, improving digestion, relieving constipation and lowering blood pressure, has a very exquisite flavor. Enjoy your meal!

  • A box of cannelloni plates
  • 1 kg of spinach leaves
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50 gr. grated cheese (whichever you like best)
  • 2 glasses of milk
  • 3 tablespoons (soup) of wheat flour
  • 2 glasses of bechamel
  • Salt and oil

1- First, wash the spinach leaves and chop them.

2- Cook the leaves in salted water for approximately 10 minutes.

3- Drain the leaves and reserve them.

4- In another saucepan, with water and salt, cook the cannelloni. When they are done, arrange them on a kitchen towel.

5- Meanwhile, peel and chop the onion and garlic cloves well. Sauté them in a saucepan.

6- When they are done, add the spinach leaves and sauté.

7- Add the milk and let it evaporate.

8- Add the salt and then the flour. Mix everything well, while stirring, until you get a thick paste.

9- Remove from heat and let cool.

10- Fill the cannelloni, one by one, with the pasta and place them in a previously greased baking dish.

11- Cover everything with the béchamel sauce, sprinkle with the grated cheese and take to the oven to gratin.
